JAZZ PIANIST GEORGE KAHN, HOLDS HOLIDAY BENEFIT FOR PATH VENTURES

EVENT RAISES FUNDS AND AWARENESS

Los Angeles. Jazz Pianist George Kahn held a benefit at the Catalina Bar and Grill on Tuesday PM, December 19th, benefiting PATH Ventures. PATH Ventures is an organization dedicated to developing permanent affordable housing for homeless individuals and creating opportunities for economic, civic, and personal empowerment for the homeless of Los Angeles.

The event was enthusiastically attended with cash donations reaching $1,500, along with gifts, blankets and clothing donations as well.

Joining George onstage along with his players (Ramon Flores on Trumpet, Justo Almario on Sax, M.B. Gordy on Drums and Karl Vincent on Standup Bass), were singers Diane and Michael Wright “The Wright Connection" and singer Courtney Lemmon.

KKJZ deejay Megan Marlene had aired an interview with George Kahn two separate times that morning, further enlightening listeners about the plight of the homeless and the efforts being taken by PATH Ventures to help.

As George eloquently put it, no other form of music is more democratic than jazz, so Tuesday, the message reached many.
