About Jazz Near You
Jazz Near You is an event discovery and event distribution platform servicing nearly 300 cities worldwide. A simple yet powerful way to discover who is playing where and when, Jazz Near You distributes event information from its website, an app, a weekly email, a widget, an RSS feed, an on-demand page, and All About Jazz.
- A festival-only calendar page. It's accessible from the main calendar page and includes every upcoming festival event that has been added to Jazz Near You. Check for festivals in the US, Canada, Europe and beyond.
- We added the day of the week under the month and day on all calendar listing pages so you can quickly scan for Friday, Saturday or the day of the week you like to hear live jazz.
- We added a time and ticket price column to all calendar listing pages.
- We improved the Spotlight service ($40) by highlighting those events (sitewide) with a gold star.
- We improved the jazz teacher finder and the jazz musician finder pages.
- We added more flexible title handling to support names like “McCarthy" and abbreviations like “CD."
- We added the “Popular, New and Free Events" box to the bottom of every Jazz Near You page.
- We added a “Prev" and a “Next" button to all event detail pages so you can quickly scroll to the next event in your area.
- We partnered with Ticketfly and import jazz events from their database. We're also selling tickets as a result. Learn more about that here.
