Jazz Hall Will Have Busy Month

The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame is celebrating its birthday with two big events.

Its one-year anniversary at the historic Union Depot Train Station will be marked Thursday with a Wine N' Jazz Festival, and its huge 20th anniversary with a black-tie gala on October 22.

Wine N' Jazz Festival chairs are Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame founder and retired state senator Maxine Horner; Glenda Love, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House; Jazz Hall board Chairman Steve Alter, and Jazz Hall Facilities Coordinator Ray Davis.

Tickets are $50 per person.

The star-studded Hall of Fame Induction Banquet Gala will feature fine dining and amazing musical performances by international jazz stars as well as the Oklahoma artists who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
