Jazz Grammy Nominees (2011) for 53rd Annual Grammy Awards

Its here...Jazz nominees list for The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards (2011) on JAZZzology! Well...its the eve of February 13, 2011 and its time once again for the Grammy Awards. Most of the hype goes to the rock scene contenders but at least they still give awards to what they call at The Grammys, the “Jazz Field." Last year Chicagoan Kurt Elling finally won in 2010 after being snubbed nine times over the years as a Grammy Nominee. What follows is the list of this year's (2011) Jazz Grammy Official Nominees for the 53rd Annual session. Included here is an interview with last year's Jazz Grammy 2010 Award winner Kurt Elling discussing his music and the jazz idiom known as Vocalese:
