Appearing at the Collingswood Community Center, 30 W. Collings Ave, in Collingswood, NJ, on March 3rd, 2011 will be saxophonist and flutist Lynn Riley with her band, featuring pianist Aaron Graves, bassist Rubin Edwards, and Butch Reed on drums.

Born in Washington, D.C., Lynn Riley has been called the “Superwoman of the Sax" more than once since she moved to Philadelphia. She's performed throughout the US and abroad and has worked with such luminaries as Grover Washington Jr, Philly Joe Jones, David Bromberg, Rachelle Ferrell, the Indigo Girls, and Compai Segundo of the Buena Vista Social Club. In 2000, Riley performed at the Painted Bride Art Center as part of their Women Leaders in Jazz series. Lynn is a faculty member of the Performing Arts Department at Drexel University and her latest CD release “Too Cool" is a mix of driving funk and world rhythms that is totally contageous.
