Another exciting weekend of Jazz shows is scheduled for Chalkers Pub & Bistro, 247 Marlee Ave. in Toronto.
Wednesday March 4, as every Wednesday, Lisa Particelli and her superb band host the Girls Night Out Jazz jam in the cozy Chalkers Lounge from 8-12 p.m.
Thursday March 5 is Latin Jazz night with the band La-Cu-La performing on the big stage starting at 9:30 p.m.
On the weekend, the acclaimed Joanie Taylor Quartet from Vancouver will appear in the lounge for dinner shows both on Saturday March 7 from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday March 8 from 7-9 p.m.
On Monday, March 9 Juno Award-nominated Sisters Of Sheynville will offer an unusual hybrid fusion Jazz that includes strains of Gypsy, Klezmer, Yiddish and Swing from 7-11 p.m.
