Pasadena, CA - S. Robert & Denise Zeilstra will present The Freedom Concert at the new Pasadena Convention Center, in collaboration with Pasadena-based redwhite+bluezz, LA's premier Jazz Club, and Pasadena Entertainment. The Zeilstra's are sponsoring this concert as an opportunity to thank the men and women of the armed services, as well as those who serve in our police and fire forces for their commitment and dedication in protecting our country and local communities.

The concert will feature some of the world's most renowned musical artists across all genres and will be the inaugural event in the new Grand Ballroom at the recently renovated Pasadena Convention Center. The concert will be free for any veteran or active service person and guests will be treated to a light dinner served with a variety of wine and champagne.

As the official launch of the redwhite+bluezz CD The Experience, the first half of the concert will feature redwhite+bluezz artists showcasing their songs from the album. The second half of the program brings to the stage an all-star line-up of some of today's most talented artists of all musical genres, with musical accompaniment from the redwhite+bluezz orchestra. Performers and celebrities will include Sheila E, Montell Jordan, Molly Ringwald, and the USC Marching Band!

The redwhite+bluezz orchestra will feature Byron Miller on electric bass, Ryan Cross on stand-up bass, Brandon Coleman on piano, Kenneth Crouch on keyboards, Darrell Crooks on guitar and Greg Pore on lead guitar, Munjungo Jackson on percussion and Gerry Brown on drums. Additional redwhite+bluezz artists performing this evening include: Robert Kyle on saxophone, Jacques Lesure on Guitar and Bryan Pezzone on piano.

“We are honored to put on this concert for the men and women who protect and serve our country," says Robert and Denise Zeilstra. “The sole purpose of this concert is to thank them."
