Jann Klose will be performing at Mexicali Live, 1409 Queen Anne Road, in Teaneck on September 4 at 8 PM. The venue phone is 201-833-0011. Admission is $10.

Jann is, also, collaborating with Renaissance lead singer Annie Haslam for a special show at the Sellersville Theater, in Sellersville, PA on September 20. Recently he finished a 3-week tour of the UK and his native Germany, and will be touring over the eastern half of the United States this fall. In January, he'll be performing on the West Coast.

Jann co-produced his new album, REVERIE with Stewart Lerman (Dar Williams, Black 47, Loudon Wainwright III) and it was mastered by Dominic Maita (Bryan Ferry, 'Til Tuesday, Fall Out Boy).

REVERIE has received acclaim: THE WASHINGTON POST'S Marianne Meyer writes, “Jann Klose's multicultural background is evident in his music, which evokes a global pop sound ... that draws comparisons to Sting and Jacques Brel." PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS' Jonathan Takiff says, “Ear-grabbing pop singer-songwriter has a confident yet gentle voice, with tints of soul, gospel and Afropop rhythms." Paul Barile of ScoreMusicMagazine.com, says, “His songs sound like what I expect The Beatles would have done if they had grown old together."

ELMORE's Abigail Wright praises, “Jann Klose has star power. Klose's gentle but undeniably strong voice and poetic, insightful lyrics make REVERIE a treat for the ear. A soothing journey through Klose's mind and soul, the album is aptly titled." TIME OUT LONDON writes Jann's music is made up of “soulful and slightly Afropop and gospel bent headlines." BEYOND RACE's Alexis Smith's review states, “Jann Klose, whose songwriting, incredibly expressive vocals, and exploration as an artist are in abundance, has only just begun."

Radio is supporting REVERIE as well. In addition to a range of formats from talk to classic rock, folk, jazz, the BBC, pirate, internet, public, and college radio, the album has been played on 35 stations in just one month of a Triple AAA radio campaign, including regional indicators: The Loft on XM Radio, WDVR-Sargentsville, NJ; WESU-Middletown, WHDD-Sharon, WPKN-Briadgeport, WWUH-West Hartford, WAER-Syracuse, and WJFF in the Catskills.

Jann was born in Mannheim, Germany, raised in Nairobi, Kenya and Johannesburg, South Africa until age 10. His family then returned to Hamburg, Germany. He came to Cleveland, Ohio as an exchange student, returned to Germany for a year to complete his civil service, and, then, started his music career in the States.

Since his arrival in The Bronx, NY, Jann has also toured with Broadway's JEKYLL & HYDE, the European tour of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and regionally appeared in THE WHO'S TOMMY. His songs have been heard in films DEAD BROKE (Warner Bros. DVD) and on compilations (SAAB, France and Prambors Hits 3, Indonesia).
