Join James Moody and friends in a celebration of Jazz and education! This evening's performance, for which Moody and his friends are contributing their time, will raise funds to establish the James Moody Scholarship for Jazz Studies at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College. The all-star line-up includes James Moody and fellow saxophonists David Brandom, Jimmy Heath, Ralph LaLama, Joe Lovano, Mark Turner, Frank Wess, and Steve Wilson as well as David Hazeltine (piano), Todd Coolman (bass), and Adam Nussbaum (drums); Jon Faddis (trumpet) is musical director.
