Considered among the best in the business by his peers, John Bolden (AKA j dee) is known as a producer\songwriter, as well as a musician. His production and arrangement credits include the last Grover Washington album, Next Exit, as well as Nais' Str-8 from Da Boot, and Y.T Style's The Concept.
Bolden, along with his producing partner, Brother Teddy, also are renowned for their music in the legendary Orion film Original Gangsta's.
Now, Bolden steps out as a solo artist, taking the stage name of “j dee," with his first solo project entitled Tippin' on the Edge of Funk. Deliciously grooving with true urban funk and soul, Bolden also includes a generous portion of Latin rhythms in this hot, new CD.
