10 Years Presenting the Finest in Jazz!
The Iridium Jazz Club, one of the world's premier jazz venues and home to guitar legend and music icon Les Paul and jazz vocal legend Bob Dorough, along with The Mingus Big Band (starting Tuesday, November 9th) is pleased to announce it's tenth anniversary celebration this fall.
The Iridium Jazz Club has been thrilling International jazz fans since 1994, first at their original location at Lincoln Center and now at 1650 Broadway at 51st, in the historic jazz neighborhood that once was home to the 'Street That Never Slept', 52nd Street and the original Birdland. Located beneath the legendary Ellen's Stardust Diner the new Iridium Jazz Club has been designed to be among the best live music experiences available anywhere! Improvements to the club include a new state of the art Meyer Sound System conceived by no less an authority than the legendary guitarist Les Paul, Acoustics, Lighting, Design and a Recording Studio. What hasn't changed is Iridium's stellar roster of jazz artists, including Les Paul who plays every Monday, along with our Wine Spectator award winning wine list and upscale cuisine and the best jazz brunch in New York City featuring vocal jazz legend Bob Dorough every Sunday.
