Governor Proclaims April Jazz Appreciation Month

A proclamation issued by Governor Mitch Daniels today officially declares April “Jazz Appreciation Month," or JAM for short. Indiana now joins nine other states that have followed the lead of the Smithsonian Institute's National Museum of American History's Jazz initiative to increase awareness of this original American art form.
