It's June 1st. Shouldn't you be leaving Facebook now?

Despite an uproar over privacy concerns, don't expect many Facebook users to be jumping ship on Memorial Day, or as its known online, Quit Facebook Day.

Tropic Lightning Rock and Jazz Bands Entertain Iraqi and U.S. Soldiers

FORWARD OPERATING BASE DAGGER, Iraq The 25th Infantry Divisions rock and jazz bands SANDSTORM! and Jazz for Joe turned Partnership Day into a festival at Forward Operating Base Dagger.

The bands played for U.S. and Iraqi Soldiers who were celebrating 6 years of working together to bring security and stability to Iraq. The troops spent the day facing off in soccer matches, games of three-on- three basketball, volleyball, and long-hit golf over the Tigris River.

Peter Orlovsky, Poet and Partner of Allen Ginsberg, Has Died

Peter Orlovsky, longtime partner of Allen Ginsberg and a poet in his own right, died May 30 in Vermont of lung cancer. He was 76.

Orlovsky met Ginsberg in San Francisco in 1954, before Ginsberg wrote his seminal poem, “Howl." Published in 1956, “Howl" was the subject of a 1957 obscenity trial that became a landmark free-expression case. A Pakistani court on Monday ordered the government to restore access to Facebook, nearly two weeks after it blocked the social networking Web site amid anger over a Facebook page that solicited images of the Prophet Muhammad.
