AT&T Said to Expose iPad Users' Addresses

A group of hackers said Wednesday that it had obtained the e-mail addresses of 114,000 owners of 3G Apple iPads, including those of military personnel, business executives and public figures, by exploiting a security hole on AT&T's Web site.

The F.B.I. is investigating a security loophole that involves AT&T and the iPad 3G. The Federal Bureau of Investigation said Thursday that it was investigating a security breach on AT&T's Web site that allowed a security group to obtain the e-mail addresses of 114,000 iPad 3G owners.
