The Edwardsville Intelligencer has published an article detailing a lawsuit brought by Ross Gentile, the longtime host of the Standards in Jazz" program on WSIE (88.7 FM), against Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, which operates the radio station. The article by the Intelligencer's Steve Horrell says Gentile alleges that for more than a decade the university's Board of Trustees intentionally misclassified his employment status to keep from paying him pension, health insurance, vacation, holidays and other benefits."
