New York, NY, March 4, 2004 Today, Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) announced the 15 finalist bands for its prestigious Ninth Annual Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival. These bands will compete for over $11,000 in cash awards at the competition finals, produced by JALC, in New York City on May 22, 23 & 24, 2004.
