Rock Hall Will Honor Music Innovator Les Paul

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will pay tribute to the “father of the electric guitar" this fall. Les Paul will be honored at the annual American Music Masters series, a weeklong event that begins Nov. 10, Rock Hall officials said Tuesday. STOCKHOLM (AFP) -- US soprano Renee Fleming and British rock group Pink Floyd received the Polar Music Prize from the hands of Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf at a gala ceremony in Stockholm on Tuesday, organisers said.
