The accolades keep coming for Chris Brown this time, he's been named Billboard's top artist of 2008. R&B enjoyed solo hits such as With You and Forever.

Clint Eastwood Nominated for Golden Globes Best Film Score

Clint Eastwood is riding high. Giving a first time screen writer a boost, in June green lighting Gran Torino, then beginning shooting in July. The film just released and this morning Eastwood was nominated for Best Song for the film as well as Best Original Score for his motion picture soundtrack the Changeling.

Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Miley Cyrus and Beyonce Knowles are among the music-related nominees for the 2009 Golden Globe awards. The ceremony will be broadcast live Jan. 11 on NBC. Springsteen was nominated in the best original song category for “The Wrestler" from the feature film of the same name. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences nominated 22 Berklee alumni and one faculty member for a total of 29 Grammy Awards.
