Jazz at the Bistro Makes Down Beat's 2009 List of "100 Great Jazz Clubs"

Jazz at the Bistro, the main venue for presenting organization Jazz St. Louis, has been named one of “100 Great Jazz Clubs" around the world in an article in the February 2009 issue of Down Beat magazine. Offbeat Best Guitarist Nominee Jimmy Robinson

New Orleans guitarist Jimmy Robinson has been nominated for best guitarist of 2008 by OFFBEAT MAGAZINE.

Fellow nominees are Sonny Landreth and Walter “Wolfman" Washington. Jimmy's solo release “Vibrating strings" was also named #20 of Offbeat's best releases of 2008.
