Two member of the Jordan Family of Jazz announced that two individual acts from the family have been selected to perform during the 2012 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Presented by Shell. DC Jazz Festival Receives NEA Art Works Grant

On November 30, the DC Jazz Festival (DCJF) proudly announced that it will once again receive a $35,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in support of the 2012 Festival, which will take place June 1-10, 2012. The DCJF is receiving one of 863 grant awards, which total $22.543 million, encompass 15 artistic disciplines and fields, and support of projects in 47 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
