CONTEXT: The Future Of Music Streaming And Personalization?

The need for discovery and personalisation Besides a few exclusive artists, such as Thom Yorke on BandCamp, orMetallica on Spotify, ...

Music Marketing in the Modern Era

Music Marketing in the Modern Era

Source: HypeBot

By Mike Gendel. As 2014 comes to a close, musicians can find little to be optimistic about. By this time last year, we had only five platinum releases and according to some, none of them would have been in the top 10 sellers just a decade earlier. The many problems facing independent musicians are growing. The ability ...

Source: HypeBot

By Bobby Owsinski on Music 3.0 We now live in a world where it's really easy to skip a song that we're listening to if we're not satisfied. This is a revelation of sorts because it wasn't always that way on a personal level in the days of vinyl and even CDs, and of course it's still like that when it comes to radio. But in today's streaming world a new choice is only a click away to switch to something that's ...
