AT CHRIS' JAZZ CAFÉ

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2005 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM

New Orleans Jazz is considered the earliest style of Jazz from about the time that Buddy Bolden formed his first band in 1895. Chris' Jazz Café will be hosting 110 Jazz musicians throughout the day and evening to commemorate each year since Jazz first originated in New Orleans. Every half hour, a band will be playing be it trios, quartets, big bands and vocalists. The styles will range from swing, bebop and of course New Orleans Jazz. All donations and admissions will be donated to the American Red Cross.
