HBO's Vinyl Provides Classic Tracks With Nice Bump On Spotify

The Grammys aren't the only TV show that provide a bump on Spotify.  HBO’s Vinyl, which premiered on Sunday, chronicles the music business in '70s New York. The Spotify data team measured streams before and after the premiere and found every track included in the episode experienced a streaming bump.

Taking the top spot was Ty Talor’s “Cha Cha Twist” with an increase of 150%, followed by Nasty Bits’ “Rotten Apple” and David Johansen’s “Stranded In The Jungle," both with a streaming increase of 140%.
