Hank Johnson Trio and Vocalist Dianne Allen to Perform Live from the Cemetery!

St. Michael's cemetery located at 72-02 Astoria Boulevard is presenting free jazz concerts in celebration of life! On June 16th, 2007 the Hank Johnson Trio + jazz vocalist and rising star Dianne Allen will perform live in the administration building at St. Michael's. The concert is FREE and open to the public with plenty of parking (FREE PARKING). 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and there will be a real acoustic grand piano, air conditioning, and the intimacy of being close up with this great trio and vocalist. Original tunes, standards and requests!

Previous concerts have included a celebration of the life of Scott Joplin, who is interned at St. Michael's Cemetery. This event is FREE and open to the public. Jazz Pianist Hank Johnson is joined by “Cool Mike" Fitzbenjamin on bass, and Gary Smith on drums and song stylist Dianne Allen all getting together for the afternoon to make some great music.
