Great "Jazz Diva" Dakota Staton Passes

The beloved Dakota Staton passed on Tuesday April 10, 2007, at the Isabella Nursing Home, in New York City.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Artists who knew Dakota or performed with her and wish to take part in the services are urged to contact her brother, saxophonist, Fred Staton.
