Just Jazz Goa's premier jazz ensemble was formed in Goa with the intention of offering visiting international jazz singers and soloists a platform to showcase their talent in India. Goa has always been one of the favourite chillout destination for some of the world's greatest jazz musicians. Infact American composer/saxophonist Henry Threadgill, currently rated as one of the worlds most progressive contemprory jazz artiste, has made a permanent home in Goa for six months in the year. Singers and soloists from all over the world have found a great rhythm section in Just Jazz. Just Jazz has released a debut album recorded live at a gig in Goa and has been invited to perform at the Malaysian jazz festival in December this year.
