George Duke to play with Dweezil Zappa Plays Zappa for the first time ever!
George Duke will join the Dweezil Zappa Plays Zappa shows in Los Angeles to celebrate Frank Zappa's 70th birthday. In honor & celebration of FZ's birthday, they will perform the works in sequence from the classic album Apostrophe (') in its unmitigated entirety.

I'm just confirming for you that George Duke will be joining us on stage at the Music Box in LA in December. We've mentioned the idea to him in the past and the timing finally worked out.
I'm really looking forward to the experience and I know the band is too. George played on so many of my favorite FZ recordings. Inca Roads is a timeless classic. That is certainly on my list of hopeful tunes to perform.
