A SOLAR POWERED JAM IN THE JOINT
Gem State Jam Music and Arts Festival, Idaho's largest solar-powered music, art and history festival, will return once again to the Old Idaho Penitentiary in Boise on June 11, 2011. Check out the initial lineup below. Click here to get tickets.
In collaboration with Sustainable Waves Staging, the Jam will feature two solar-powered stages for non-stop music throughout the day as well as provide information on bike rides and public transportation to help reduce the festival's carbon footprint. The festival will also feature artists from Boise's Artist in Residency Program, and regional vendors/independent artists will be invited to showcase their work alongside live art demonstrations.
