Gary Lucas NYC Double Hit This Week

Longtime New Yorker GARY LUCAS returns from a tour of Australia to play 2 Manhattan shows this week:
On Tuesday Dec. 13th, Gary Lucas plays solo acoustic as part of the new Epistrophy Cafe's “What If...? Festival" on a double bill with Andy Statman. The Epistrophy Cafe is located at 200 Mott Street (between Spring and Kenmare), and Gary plays at 9pm,. Tickets are $15, seating is imited so please call 212 966 0904 for reservations.
And on Saturday Dec. 17th Gary plays with his longtime band Gods and Monsters as part of his monthly residency at the Bowery Poetry Club. The band features Ernie Brooks and Billy Ficca on bass and drums, with special guests Felice Rosser, Jason Candler, Kristin Diable, and Joe Hendel. The club is at 308 Bowery (corner of Bleecker) and tickets are $15.
