GARY LUCAS BRINGS HIS LONGTIME NYC BAND GODS AND MONSTERS TO THE BOWERY POETRY CLUB THIS SATURDAY JAN. 28th AT 10PM “Legendary leftfield guitarist Lucas" (The Guardian) will be joined by Ernie Brooks (bass) and Billy Ficca (drums), performing with special guests Felice Rosser (vocals) and Jason Candler (alto sax) and poet Bob Holman as part of Gary's monthly residency at the Bowery Poetry Club. “An underground-rock fan's dream team". --The New Yorker

Gary will also sit in with Peter Stampfel at 8PM, and Peter will sit in with Gary at 10pm, performing as The Du-Tels--their first appearance together in over a year.

The Bowery Poetry Club is located at 308 Bowery, corner of Bleecker.

MARCH 2006 Saturday, Mar.25th James River Film Festival, Plant Zero, Richmond, Virginia - Gary plays “Sounds of the Surreal", accompanying silent surrealist film classics by Fernand Leger, Rene Clair and Starowicz with his original solo guitar music; Gary will also jam with Hotel X after the performance
