Freedom Jazz Dance is proud to join the all jazz and blues line-up of WDCE 90.1 FM every Sunday from 5-7 pm. Starting this weekend, I'll be alternating FJD with my Big, Bad Blues every other week. Join me tomorrow for two hours of modern jazz from rare from rare recordings to today's most innovative artists. This week's journey through modern jazz includes selections from the Roberto Magris Europlane, the Dave Bailey Quintet, Ray Anderson, a cut from the new Robert Jospe record, Art Pepper and a track or two in honor of sweet ol' mom on Mother's Day. More vinyl treasures will be unearthed during my Records From Aunt Ruth segment and you can pick your favorite version of a jazz composition during the FJD exclusive Two Of A Kind segment (registered, trademarked and servicemarked to 2006 Freedom Jazz Dance Corp.
