Event Overview

Prepare for an unforgettable evening as the celebrated Jordan Family from New Orleans graces the historic Eldorado Ballroom in Houston, TX. This special event marks the return of Stephanie Jordan and Rachel Jordan, joined by their brother, acclaimed jazz trumpeter Marlon Jordan, who will make his debut at this iconic venue located at 2310 Elgin Street.

The concert takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, and tickets are available for purchase here.

Performance Details

Audiences will enjoy Stephanie Jordan’s highly regarded vocals, showcased within a jazz ensemble and enhanced by a string quartet led by her sister, the distinguished classical violinist Rachel Jordan. This performance draws inspiration from their previous appearance at The Historic Eldorado Ballroom as part of ROCO’s Unchambered Series, which can be viewed on YouTube. Building on Stephanie’s signature style, the concert will feature jazz standards from the Big Band era, bringing classic jazz to life in a unique and vibrant setting.

Featured Guests

The evening will also highlight special guest performances by Claudia Hayden and Adam J. Ivey, an accomplished classically trained pianist, composer, and arranger. Claudia Hayden, a renowned national recording artist, captivates audiences with her Billboard-charting music and exceptional flute artistry. Her latest release, “WiFi," blends beautiful melodies with a distinctive combination of smooth and edgy tones, promising a memorable musical experience.

Completing out the ensemble for the night will be Music Alive Ensemble members Amy Thiaville, Darrell Lavigne, Sam Knight, and Arthur Moyler.

Supported by Jazz Road Tours

This concert is proudly supported by Jazz Road Tours, a program of South Arts made possible with funding from the Doris Duke Foundation and additional support from the Mellon Foundation.
