Peter Krause (HBO's “Six Feet Under"), starring in ABC's “Dirty Sexy Money" this fall, has executive produced “The Tamela D'Amico Album." Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 31, when Tamela D'Amico and Her Big Band will perform songs from her debut jazz CD release produced by Grammy winner Jimmy Hoyson and arranged by Grammy nominee Chris Walden.
D'Amico, like Michael Buble, is a throwback to another era. She burst onto the Los Angeles jazz scene, winning a Fabulous Finds vocal competition sponsored by Clear Channel's Fabulous 570.
“The Tamela D'Amico Album" showcases the multi-talented artist who released the recording through her production company La Strega Entertainment. Fresh off Steven Spielberg's reality series “On the Lot," Ms. D'Amico, an award-winning filmmaker, is developing several projects.
Whether she's acting, directing or singing, her talent has cast a spell on Hollywood. How appropriate -- “strega" means “sorceress" in Italian! Her sassy, sexy singing and style has led to several label talks. A decision will be made after her much anticipated CD release concert date at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood.
