Dexter Gordon Tribute Show On Freedom Jazz Dance

I'll take you from Dex's glorious early bebop days to his cutting contests on Central Avenue to his resurgence in the early 60s to his years in Europe to his triumphant US comeback in the 70s to his Oscar-winning performance in Round Midnight. I'll be spinning rare Dex 78s, definitive Dex recordings, overlooked live tracks and even interviews with Long Tall Dexter himself.
