David Morrell Joins Concord as VP, Promotions
Concord Records announced today that music industry veteran, David Morrell, has joined the independent label as Vice President of Promotions, a newly created position within the company. Morrell, who will report directly to General Manager, Gene Rumsey, will oversee the expansion of radio and video activity for the label as it continues to grow its roster of artists into 2005.
Throughout his career, Morrell has worked with a plethora of artists, from Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Paul McCartney to Aimee Mann, Simply Red and Los Lonely Boys, for nearly every major record label, Capitol, Sony, Warner Bros. and Arista among them.
