Craig & Lori Brenner to Perform in Concert at the Ann Arbor District Library

Pianist/composer Craig Brenner and his wife Lori Brenner will perform in concert on March 29, 2012, at the downtown Ann Arbor District Library, 343 South Fifth Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, tel. (734) 327-4200. The concert will begin at 7PM.

Called “a fine and funky pianist" by Living Blues magazine, Craig Brenner has also been voted Best Musician in Bloomington, Indiana by the Bloomington Independent. Lori Brenner adds vocals and percussion to many of Craig's original blues, jazz, and boogie woogie tunes, “and delights with her beautiful, melodious voice that's also filled to the brim with expressiveness" according to Illinois Blues magazine.

The duo will perform favorites by Ray Charles, Ruth Brown, Etta James, Charles Brown, Louis Prima & Keely Smith, Nina Simone, and other great artists. In addition, they will perform many tunes from their CD's “Backstage Boogie," “Play it Again, Professor!," “Man At the Piano," “Window On the Soul," and their most recent recording, “Live to Love."
