Clare Teal's album “Orsino's Songs" has been voted the best jazz vocal CD of 2003 in this year's Jazz Journal “Jazz Record Of The Year Critics' Choice" poll. The Album, which features her Radio 2 favourite “California Dreamin'", was the only vocal album to be nominated across the board in the critic's top ten albums lists and stormed into the lead to become the only vocal album to be in the top 15 albums of the year. 34 critics were asked to vote and over 300 CDs were included in the nominations.. so, WELL DONE CLARE!!
