Chick Corea, an endlessly inquisitive pianist, spearheads a tribute to one of his quieter inspirations. His partners are both alumni of Evans trios: Eddie Gomez, a versatile and thoughtful bassist who also has many years of history with Corea, and Paul Motian, a deeply melodic drummer whose evasive pulse may add a welcome measure of mystery.
