Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium 5th Annual Jazz Festival

The Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium (CBJC) will host its 5th fabulous year coordinating a Jazz Festival throughout the month of April at an assortment of Brooklyn venues. The April Jazz Festival kicks off this year with a Gala at the Sugarhill Supper Club, 615 DeKalb Avenue (corner of Nostrand Ave). This year's event features the great saxophonist Gary Bartz with his quartet as well as a sensational newcomer, vocalist Gina Fletcher and her group. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event.

Each year, CBJC honors musicians who have contributed to the advancement of the music, locally, nationally and internationally. Among the honorees at this year
