Calm and Collected Music Group (CACMG) is expanding into podcasts with the launch of Jazz Language, a new project produced by its jazz label, Chill Tone Records. The 10-part series, available in both audio and video formats, features candid conversations with artists and notable figures shaping modern jazz, offering insight into their creative process, influences, and evolving sound.
Hosted by acclaimed saxophonist Noah Preminger, Jazz Language will release new episodes biweekly on Fridays at midnight ET. The first episode, available now, features saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Wheeler Curtis ahead of his new album Ritual, out April 10. Upcoming guests include publicist Lydia Liebman and drummer and composer Dan Weiss, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
The podcast expands Chill Tone Records’ work beyond releasing music, giving artists a space to talk about their creative process. The launch also reflects CACMG’s broader evolution beyond music into audio, publishing, and other content formats, as the company builds a lifestyle-driven media ecosystem centered on how audiences engage with sound in their daily lives.
