Bump release second full-length release, Forward
Embark on national tour

Bump

Bump is proud to debut Forward, the band's first full-length effort in three years. Pollution, crime rates, and economic despair aren't the only effects of growing up in the outskirts of the Motor City. Within the gray solitude there is beauty, hope and a budding bouquet of creativity and invigorating new music. Bump leads the charge of exhilarating new music out of Detroit proving there is more than just garage rock and hip-hop.

Following three years of exhaustive touring, the band barricaded themselves in The Bunker in Royal Oak, MI, with producer Dan Currie ready to turn heads and change perceptions. The result is what many critics have already called the bands most mature and accessible album to date. Progressive tones, three part harmonies, and complicated layerings define the album's well-crafted songs and instantly memorable melodies.

On an unseasonably warm October day, Bump, Fulvew Productions and 25 behind-the-scenes volunteers set out to accomplish something most would call insane. Their vision was a one-shot music video, meaning no cuts, for Bump's new single “Out of Reach." What's so crazy about that? They were going to try to pull this off in the middle of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, crossing busy city streets and invading a public city park with all of the unsuspecting citizens going about business as usual. It was a video that would require the cooperation of a city that didn't even know what was about to happen. The result was a music video that will make you wonder, “how'd they do that?"
