Brian Haas (JFJO) has announced the release of his new solo album entitled Petting Sounds. The album is an improvised symphony for solo piano that he recorded in one continuous session. Petting Sounds was engineered and co-produced by Teddy Jack Russell (Leon Russell's son). The album was recorded in Ojai, California last year at the (now defunct) Institute for Universal Healing Arts with the same UA mixing board that was used for The Beach Boys masterpiece Pet Sounds!
