About the exhibit:
This show is the long-anticipated collaboration of Andria Linn (Durham) and Wendy Kowalski (Wilmington). Andria Linn will be showcasing new, colorful, story montages of Jazz artists' throughout history. Her work is textural and contains personal as well as universal narratives. Wendy Kowalski will be exhibiting uninhibited, dreamscapes inspired by the improvisational sounds of jazz, dance movement, and poetry. Her paintings are made in the spirit of freedom and her signature style of painting children beyond the radar of suburban life is represented here.
