Source:

View read count
There was a tribute to the late jazz organist Bobby Forrester on Thursday night December 12th, 2002 at Pumpkins Jazz Club. They had an organist, trumpets, saxaphones, and one hell of a jam session! Jazz Pianist Hank Johnson presented the club with a enlarged photo of the late great jazz organist. Drummer “Tootsie Bean", was chill'in out and another drummer played, it was swinging, and a beautiful way to say goodbye to one of the greatest unsung heros on the organ. Many jazz musicians stopped by to pay tribute, and Trumpeter “Beasley" lit up the room, with some great exciting sounds.
