An exciting afternoon and evening of entertainment, STLBlues.net, presents this 4th annual event that promises to highlight your March calendar. Listen to legendary St. Louis Blues and raise donations for St. Louis' Siteman Cancer Center and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro St. Louis.
Guest artists include US 61 / Joe UJ" Miller (4:10-4:40 pm), Bottoms Up Blues Gang (4:50-5:20 pm), Bonedaddy & the Blues Shakers (5:30-6:00 pm), The Piping Hot Buttery Biscuits of Blues (6:10-6:40 pm), Billy Peek (7:20-8:00 pm), Gumbohead (8:10-8:50 pm), Phat Bottom'd Monks (9:00-9:40 pm), and Voodoo Blues (9:50-10:30 pm). The concert is dedicated to the late Shauna Beardsley, the wife of STLBlues.net publisher David Beardsley, who lost her brave battle to lung cancer in May 2005. A gifted athlete, computer tech, and mother of two boys, Shauna attended night school in pursuit of her Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Her support came from a strong network of family and friends, and her faith in the Lord. After diagnosis, Shauna insisted, you need to love what you do even more now." Since then, David Beardsley has been more dedicated to his Blues website than ever.
STLBlues.net is St. Louis' own Blues Music e-Zine that earned a coveted #1 ranking on YAHOO! for 'Blues Music', among over 32 million websites. STLBlues.net had over 6 million hits in 2005, and also received a nomination for the Blues Foundation's 'Keeping the Blues Alive' award!
David Beardsley, publisher of STLBlues.net, hosts the concert fundraiser. Its $10 event cover charge will be donated to the Siteman Cancer Center and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro St. Louis.
