Mexicanamerican Latin-Jazz Vocalist, Anna Acevedo Lyman will be performing selections from her new Latin-Jazz CD “Sway - Quien Sera" at 7:30 pm, Hermann's Jazz Club, Victoria, BC, 753 View St.
A feature of her composition style is the addition of Bluenote's and Blues progressions to Latin Jazz for a distinctly personal sound. She writes Swing, Latin-Jazz, and being resistant to genre boundaries, crosses them freely and happily!

Anna was born into a Latin-American family in the Detroit area, and was introduced to Latin music at a tender age. She sings in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and French.
