Ballard Jazz Festival Announces Headlining Artists for the Expanded 2004 Series

The 2004 Ballard Jazz Festival is expanding to four days this year from November 17-20.

First off will be the Brotherhood of the Drum, two nights of music from groups led by top American drummers who just happen to live in Seattle. November 17 will feature Michael Shrieve (Santana) and Tangletown and the John Bishop Group.

November 18 will feature The Gregg Keplinger Trio, Matt Jorgensen +451 and Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden) with friends. Both nights are at the Tractor Tavern and are pre-sented in association with Modern Drummer magazine.

Friday, November 19 will feature the Ballard Avenue Jazz Walk which will feature top northwest and international jazz tal-ent on eight stages along historic Ballard Avenue. Saxophonist Tim Ries and his Stones
