Ava Logan, veterinarian by day, well-regarded jazz vocalist by night, takes the audience on a musical journey through the best loved songs of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Nancy Wilson and others. Ava Logan may be the only veterinarian with degrees from Yale University and University of Pennsylvania who also receives praise for being a classically trained vocalist performing almost ever genre including jazz, pop and rhythm and blues. She has been lauded for her numerous jazz vocal performances--performing abroad and throughout the United States as well as being in demand throughout Chicagoland. Her stage appearances, including portrayals of Ella Fitzgerald and Nancy Wilson at the Black Ensemble Theatre, and her debut recording ”So Many Stars“ released in September 2008 have all garnered acclaim.
