Author appearing in NYC

Richard Terrill, author of the newly published Fakebook:Improvisations on a Journey Back to Jazz (Proscenium Publishers Inc., Limelight Editions, 2000)will be appearing at Barnes & Noble-Citicorp, 160 E. 54th St., in Manhattan, the night of Jan. 10.

Terrill's book give reminiscences on the art of jazz and some of its makers. He has been awarded grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the state art boards in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He teaches creative writing at Minnesota State University.
