ATLANTA, GA - GroovProject, a Atlanta based soul-jazz band, has released their sophomore recording entitled, The Life, The Loss, The Love. The effort features 12 songs, six of which were written by the band's director and drummer, Donovan Groov" Henderson. The Life, The Loss, The Love was recorded at Sirama Sound Lab in Atlanta, GA and FSP Studios in Stone Mountain, GA under the guiding hand of producer and recording engineer Donovan Groov" Henderson.
GroovProject consists of Donovan Groov" Henderson on drums, and percussion, and Reggie Fro" Carter on keyboards. The band was joined on the debut recording project with former members Melvin Byrd on sax, Reyes Torres III on guitar, Carl Rives on bass, and Kevin Tanner on percussion.
